Dual language program

Our dual language program is currently in grades K1-8. Our first 8th grade graduation will be in June 2022.

Our goal is for students to become verbally and academically proficient in both English and Spanish, while also developing intercultural and global competencies that prepare them to thrive in today’s global environment.

In Kindergarten, 75% of the academic day is in Spanish, and 25% in English; in first grade 60% in Spanish and 40% in English; and from 2nd grade and up, 50% in Spanish and 50% in English. Students acquire literacy skills in Spanish starting in kindergarten, then transfer those skills to English literacy in 1st and 2nd grade.
